The KPIs Hierarchy aims to declutter targets, analyses and dashboards.

Each KPI has different uses and being clear on WHY are we discussing a certain KPI helps focus relevance and actionability.

The KPIs Hierarchy is used in conjunction with the Feature Success Ladder to plan which KPIs are relevant for measuring:

  • Execution success

  • User adoption

  • Impact on the product's business performance

A KPIs Alignment Process starts with defining which KPIs fall into which level in the hierarchy so that we can ensure all roles in the company have a mutual understanding of their purpose.
